With more than 30 years of experience with training and coaching Lieve De Meyer has quite an extensive background in navigating communication in a trustworthy and creative way.

She studied educational sciences at KULeuven, where she acquired an considerable theoretical background. During her 4 year studies as dramatheater at the Theateracademy in Maastricht (NL) she gained a lot of knowledge on how to work with groups in a practical manner. It also inspired her to make theaterplays with music about crucial themes in society.

It seems to be the perfect combination to work with participants on an effective communication. She is influenced by big thinkers and followed a lot of training herself.

Always looking for a win-win is her goal. She integrates active exercises and roleplay in a spontaneous way. Empathy and humor are always close by. This creates a very longlasting impression of her training/coaching/webinar, with a lot of practical encouragements to actually optimize communicating in the work context.

As storyteller and singer she spends a sizeable amount of time on stages, so she knows from experience what does and doesn’t work with presentations. She uses her storytelling as an extra input to make the message personal and brief. “One of the key elements is to decide up front what content of the presentation should be remembered” she states.

She tried consoling him, but he left her with severe burns. How can she solve this situation?

• Successful negotiating: The ideas of the successful negotiators Roger Fisher and William Ury are in based on 4 principles. Those can be used to get to interesting negotiating in work context.
• Meetings with results: A very practical training where the procedures, the processes and the product/content of meetings are discussed. The participants return with a full backpack of tips to the workplace.
• Leadership and communication: a challenge: Give and take feedback are part of the job of the line-manager, but it takes more than that. With the support of the Seven Habits of Stephen Covey we train important skills of leadership in very different situations.
